Fundy
Design and Internet Marketing is a home-based website
design company in Sussex Corner, New Brunswick. My name
is Mr.Jodi Deluney and I’m a Graduate with Honors
of the 2001 Digital Media Design Class at McKenzie College
Moncton. If you need a website, I can help.
A website provides customers with access to information
about your business; your location, your products, services,
your helpful staff...all on a 24 hour a day, 7 days
a week, 365 days a year basis. For the modest investment
in a website, a small monthly web-hosting fee, and a
yearly domain name fee (www.yourcompany.com), having
your business marketed online is a good value for your
money.
I can design your business a one-of-a-kind website,
and can add Flash Animation to make it stand-out. If
you already have a website that has all the information
you want online, but is several years old and just needs
to be updated - I can help by giving it a new look.

I use state of the art software to
assure the highest quality product for our customers.
Photoshop
6.0: Professional image-editing software for high-quality
photo manipulation, amazing effects and when combined
with ImageReady 3.0, streamlines files for the web allowing
quicker page downloads.
Dreamweaver
MX: A market leading product for the rapid creation
of dynamic html websites. Known as the standard for
powerful, clean coding and application development,
Dreamweaver MX offers a full spectrum of cross platform
MX features, including its own FTP publisher for uploading
files to the server.
Flash MX: Is a spectacular program used to design and
develop Flash websites. Flash enables websites to have
complex animations and movement unseen in simple html
sites. The Flash Plug-in, which is required to view
Flash sites, can be downloaded free of charge at www.macromedia.com,
and is now in use on over 300 million computers world-wide
and growing.
(Fundy Design's copies of Photoshop
and Imageready are registered with Adobe Products
and Dreamweaver MX and Flash MX are part of the Studio
MX package are registered with Macromedia). |

Design
Process |
|
| |
|
|
| |
-
You,
the customer, complete a confidential questionaire
about design preferences, company history, required
information, etc.
-
I
will evaluate the information to determine how many
pages, how much content, and the best format to
use for the design.
-
Based
on the estimated amount of time and work involved
from the results of the questionaire, a price is
quoted and if satisfactory, we proceed with the
project. (A deposit 25% is paid)
-
A
list of what each party will provide to the project:
photos, logos, etc. and also the expected online
date. This is to assure there's no mis-understandings
and to avoid setbacks or delays in the process.
-
If
this is a new website, a domain name is applied
for so that it will be approved by the time the
project is completed.
-
While
design work starts, you collect the required images,
logos and all the text information you wish to be
included on your site. If necessary, I can take
pictures, use photos you provide or royalty-free
images can be purchased from photo websites such
as Corbis.com or iStockphoto - at your expense.
-
We
create a template to develop a site layout; so all
necessary content is included and easily accessible.
-
After
research of similar products, services, trends and
using information submitted on the questionaire,
usually three design concepts are made.
-
A
second meeting is arranged to view the concepts.
A selection is made, which may include aspects of
more than one design offered. This leads to specific
revisions, and a specific design direction.
-
Changes
are made, incorporating all the suggestions from
the previous meeting. At this point the additional
pages that will be part of the site are constructed,
including the pictures and supplied text information.
-
A
third meeting...a full site mock-up is presented
for evaluation. The site is now near completion,
and usually at this point only fine tuning takes
place.
-
We
make any required corrections or changes, and return
to have the project signed-off for approval.
-
Once
the site is complete, we can upload the file to
a server of your choice, or burn the file to CD
for you to give to a hosting provider you've arranged.
(The server is the space on the internet you pay
a webhost to display your site).
Please note: Domain Name Registration and Website
Hosting are “not” included in the cost
of website design.

Every
website is different. Pricing is calculated on
the estimated time to complete a project. The
more pages a website has, the more time it will
take to build and therefore more it will cost.
A site with vast amounts of pictures and information
would also cost more to develop than a very basic
site. Below is an approximate guide of what a
site may cost.
Using
information from a customized questionaire, I
can build your business a personalized website,
take pictures or scan 2-3 images per webpage,
apply logos, and input supplied text.
This
is a basic price guide for a typical website:
-
_5
Pages = $375
-
_7
Pages = $525
-
10
Pages = $750
-
15
Pages = $1000
